This year marks the 25th anniversary of Kalu Dorje Chang’s parinirvana. Among many other great deeds, he initiated the Kagyu Monlams in Bodhgaya, and for the 32nd edition this December, H.H. the XVIIth Gyalwang Karmapa will conduct a memorial ceremony in homage to him and to Kyabje Bokar Rinpoche.  

Various projects are flourishing to honor both of these great masters.

Following this dynamic, the Shangpa Network is working on two major projects to pay tribute to our root master Vajradhara Kalu Rinpoche: a documentary film and a book about his life and enlightened deeds.
